Checklist data stays on your device
The Before You Bid checklist saves your checkmarks and notes in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using the Reset button, deletes it.
Calculator
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored or transmitted.
Google advertising
Google AdSense is configured for taxlien.blog and www.taxlien.blog only. It does not run on the Lovable preview or published Lovable address, draft articles or guides, error pages, empty pages, the checklist or the calculator. Configuration does not mean Google has approved the site or that ads are being displayed.
On eligible pages, Google may receive the page URL, IP address, device and browser information and use cookies or similar identifiers for serving ads, measuring advertising and personalizing ads. Google and its advertising partners may use visits to this and other websites. We do not send customer matching data, checklist notes or calculator inputs.

Regional blocking and your choices
No consent banner or Google-certified consent platform is currently installed. Google advertising is blocked entirely in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, or if your region cannot be determined. Elsewhere it may run unless you disable it. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honored. A future consent-based launch in those regions requires an appropriate Google-certified consent platform.
Use Advertising settings in the footer to disable advertising or return to the regional default. Opening settings does not change your choice. Disabling takes effect immediately by reloading the page and is synchronized across open tabs. Previously blocked visits are never replayed. Google's existing cookies can be removed using your browser settings.
Your advertising preference is stored only in this browser with a random preference identifier, the time, region if available, and the notice version/text. Earlier acceptance evidence is retained if you later withdraw. Returning to the regional default does not grant consent in blocked regions. Country is checked through this site's /cdn-cgi/trace endpoint; lookup failures block ads.
Microsoft Clarity — optional analytics
Microsoft Clarity is configured only for eligible pages on taxlien.blog and www.taxlien.blog. Its script does not load unless you explicitly select Accept analytics in Advertising settings. Rejection is equally available; no choice means no Clarity transmission. Advertising and analytics choices are separate, and browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable analytics.
With your acceptance, Microsoft may receive page URLs, browser/device and usage information, cookies and masked session recordings to help us understand website usage. Clarity advertising storage is denied. We do not send custom identifiers, sensitive tags, notes, input values or calculator results. The entire page text subtree is masked, including entered text and results; the checklist and calculator are excluded altogether, as are drafts, editorial pages, errors, empty pages and pages with query strings or fragments.
Use Reject analytics in Advertising settings to withdraw at any time. Opening settings preserves your existing choice. Withdrawal sends a denied consent signal and reloads without Clarity; other open tabs apply it immediately. Blocked visits are not replayed. Your browser stores a random preference identifier, notice text/version, choice, timestamp and previous acceptance timestamps. Clearing browser storage removes the preference and returns analytics to disabled. Microsoft may retain data already received under its policies; browser settings can remove existing cookies.
See Microsoft's privacy statement. Configuration does not establish live tracking or provider receipt.
